The DRS5000/Universal is a microfilm reader/scanner for roll microfilm and microfiche.
With its low price and a very small foot print the DRS5000/Universal Microfilm Reader/Scanner brings affordable
compact digital microfilm options to every microfilm media user; including Archives and Libraries.

A single USB 2.0 connection to a computer, provides power and a data line to the DRS5000/Universal.

The DRS5000/Universal allows researchers to scroll through microfilm or microfiche
They can easily zoom out for a full page or zoom in for enlarged detail
A single press of a button will capture the image instantly making it immediately
available to save, print, email or transfer to CD or USB portable device.

With a wide variety of easy to change carriers the DRS5000/Universal will readily accept
16/35mm rollfilm, 3M Type cartridges, standard microfiche, aperture cards, even opaque cards.

The single high quality, adjustable lens accepts reductions between 7x and 48x
confirming the DRS5000/Universal as a truly versatile reader/scanner.
