1978, BlipChips have been sold or marketed by ALOS, Anacomp, Bell + Howell Canon,

and others. BlipChip's goal is to provide reasonably priced, easy to install, simple
to use, high quality
products for microfilm indexing, scanning, and retrieval.
A 12 month warranty is standard.

microfilm equipment.
Specializing in add-on electronic products used for image/frame
numbering automatic retrieval, reading, indexing, scanning and batch printing.
Products
include intelligent controllers and counters for 16 and 35mm blipped, non-blipped
and bar-coded microfilm.
Designed for use on most readers, reader-printers, and
reader-scanners. Also various image numbering devices for use on most planetary cameras,
and bar code readers for planetary and rotary microfilmers and scanners.

BlipChip V retrieves all 1, 2, & 3 level ANSI-blipped, semi-blipped, and
un-blipped microfilm
and interfaces to most rollfilm reading devices. It features
4 user-programmed modes
automatic printing and scanning, a built-in RS-232 interface,
browse, 20 PC quality keys,
a bright 8-digit display with large green LEDs, and
durable steel case.
A unique light film mode detects low density blips or images.
Options include film gate blip sensing, image edge sensing
for unblipped 16
and 35mm microfilm, and automatic sensor switching.
BlipChip Nova is the lowest cost blip controller for low cost and
other
readers and reader-printers. It reads all 1-level and most 2-level blipped
film.
It features 16 PC quality keys, a bright 6-digit display with
large green LEDs,
a user-programmed setup mode, automatic printing
and browse, a built-in RS-232
interface, and durable steel case
BlipChip Omega retrieves Kodak ORACLE microfilm, including light
blue diazo
dupes. It also includes all BlipChip V capabilities. Blip-
Chip Omega can search
in reverse and can autoprint bar-coded
files. Its RS-232 interface enables ORACLE
code scanning or direct
search. BlipChip Omega has a proven track record since
1987.
BlipChip Avanti Ô is an inexpensive reader accessory for film inspection
or
CAR system data entry. Avanti moves the film to the next page or file blip
via
push-button, foot switch, or computer control without special software.
BlipChip Uni includes all original BlipChip capabilities within a mini-desktop
enclosure
with green LED display. A selection of optional plug-in sensors for
unblipped
and 1 or 2-level blipped microfilm and a selection of optional plug-in

or 220/240 Vac adapters or low voltage dc power cords are available.
The
light film mode accommodates low density blue diazo blips.
