The DRS 10000 HRS is an easy to use reader, printer, scanner

for aperture cards, 16mm & 35mm microfilm, microfiche, micro-opaques and jackets. The unit includes the KIOSK and Pro3000 software. With its low price and small foot print the DRS10000 is well suited for public use at campuses, archives and libraries.

Directly powered by your PC via an included USB 2.0 cable it allows researchers to easily scroll through microfilm or microfiche and opaque cards. You can zoom out for a full

page or zoom in for enlarged detail. A single mouse click will capture the image instantly making it immediately available for printing email or storage to a CD-Rom or flash drive.

With a wide variety of easy slip-on carriers the

DRS 10000 will accept roll film, micro-fiche and the 3M

cartridges. The single high quality adjustable ZOOM lens accepts reductions between 7x and 48x confirming the

DRS 10000 as a truly versatile reader, printer, scanner.

Its standard 360° image rotation simply takes versatility

to a higher level.

 

Traditional running costs have been slashed as the DRS 10000

light source is not the typical hot running halogen bulb requiring frequent replacement.  It uses a cool long life flourescent bulb

with an expected life cycle of greater than 10 years.
